Eleven individuals who currently own small businesses have been the first beneficiaries of micro-loans from S3Z. These Mapalo residents were chosen in order that their life-sustaining businesses would stay afloat during the COVID-19 pandemic. These business owners range from chicken and vegetable farmers to tailors, to roadside market vendors who sell food and household goods. Each individual was given $30, which is a typical one-month salary to use toward sustaining and growing the business. Each business owner also signed a contract to pay that loan back in a particular time frame. Those loan repayments will be put into a revolving fund that will be used for other micro-loan recipients in the future.
Here are some of the small business owners .

Please consider giving $30 or more to the Micro-loan Small Business Program. All donations will be used to assist individuals in either sustaining their current small business or in helping another individual start up a new small business.
